Topographical map is a map that show s man made features and natural features of an area.for example mountains, hills, valleys, lakes , rivers,, roads and rail ways.

  1. Contour lines: countour lines are used to represent hills, mountains, river, valleys, spurs and cols.
  2. Spot height: spot height is a dot used to represent known height of an area above sea level.
  3. Trigonometrical station: this is a triangle with a middle dot that is used to show known height of an area above the sea level.
